Job Description
Your main job responsibilities will include:
Identify and analyse future business needs, designing financial systems, structures, and processes that align with legal and operational requirements.
Lead the configuration and support of SAP FICO modules, with a strong focus on FP&A functionalities (cost center accounting, internal orders, profit center accounting, and planning).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into optimized SAP finance flows.
Design and implement scalable financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting workflows.
Conduct Gap Analysis workshops and evaluate pros and cons of alternative solutions.
Create and maintain the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Maintain the finance business process master list, ensuring accuracy and alignment with system design.
Monitor system usage, identify issues affecting data accuracy or closing timelines, and define action plans for resolution.
Provide training and support to end users, ensuring effective use of SAP and financial systems.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial reporting standards.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will ideally have at least 5 years of finance/accounting experience ideally in FP&A using SAP FICO. They will have a bachelor degree or at least a finance/accounting diploma. SAP experience is a must, and an interest/good knowledge base of IT and ERPs is also preferred.
