Job Description

  • Develop and implement medical strategies to support the launch and lifecycle management of products in the rare disease portfolio.
  • Provide medical and scientific expertise to internal teams, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards in all medical affairs activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align medical strategies with business objectives.
  • Review and approve promotional and educational materials for scientific accuracy and compliance.
  • Support clinical development initiatives, including investigator-initiated studies and post-marketing research.
  • Lead a team of MSLs
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals in the rare disease field.
  • Monitor and analyze emerging trends and data within the life science industry to inform strategies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Medical Affairs Manager - Rare Disease should have:

  • A medical degree or PhD in life science background is preferred
  • Proven expertise in the rare disease/oncology field or a related therapeutic area is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks in the life science industry.
  • Experience in medical affairs, clinical development, or similar roles.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data to guide decision-making.
  • Commitment to advancing healthcare solutions in the rare disease space.
