About Our Client

Our Client is expanding their finance team and looking for talented professionals fluent in Japanese to fill multiple roles in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL). If you have strong accounting skills and Japanese language proficiency (prefer N1-N3), we want to hear from you!

Job Description

  1. Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist
  • Manage invoice processing, payment cycles and claims
  • Communicate with Japanese vendors regarding payment status and queries
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments and record keeping
  1. Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist
  • Handle billing, invoicing, and collections
  • Follow up on overdue payments and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate AR aging reports
  1. General Ledger (GL) Accountant
  • Manage general ledger postings, reconciliations, and month-end close
  • Prepare journal entries and assist with audit and compliance activities
  • Support financial reporting and ensure regulatory adherence

The Successful Applicant

  • Language Proficiencies:
    • Japanese: Fluent both written and spoken (N1-N3 is preferred)
    • English: Professional working proficiency (for internal communication)
  • Proven experience in the respective AP, AR, or GL function
  • Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail
  • Proficient with accounting software (e.g. SAP, Oracle), MS Excel and Microsoft Dynamics
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with Japanese stakeholders
